pb&j and soy cortado made with 49th parallel epic espresso,el beit, brooklyn.
how's about a silly product review?!
here we have a peanut butter and jelly sammich on amy's bread fro elbeit,a coffee shop,in williamsburg.
they serve 49th parallel coffee-roasted in vancouver, supplier to caffe artigiano, basically the best coffee roasters in vancouver.ben and i,when i volunteered at,and he worked for earthsave canada, would go to almost everyday.
it's an amazing cafe,too,try the siphon coffee,even though it's $7.
BUT we're not in vancouver,we're in new york,nd we're talking about peanut butter, too.
anyways,i felt ridiculous buying a pb&j but i mean, when else would i enjoy the novelty of feeling at home in vancouver with espresso and ordering a pb&j?so i got it.grape jelly, crunchy peanut butter, sourdough bread i'm pretty sure,so it was interesting, really good,i mean, its kinna hard to eff up a pb&j.
the cortado was good too.espresso was really chocolate-y,bittersweet,more of a cocoa nib essence.better than the last time i visited.but,i mean, didn't compare to the shop in vancouver.i rarely talk about how great things are in vancouver,i mean,it's not my favourite place, but the coffee from 49th parallel was a lot better than at el beit.not bad, though.
