I guess this is how we celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada?

So I thought that while in Portland I had missed Canadian Thanksgiving.Wrong.Oh well,it's on a totally fraudulent date that was only put in place just over 50 years ago as to not interfere with remembrance day.
Maybe that's why people don't go bats over the holiday like in the states?
Anyways,my mom,who I hadn't seen in about a month,was going to come over and have a Thanksgiving thingy a day early and early in the day since she wasn't working and stuff.So I hadn't planned on baking anything,but then I decided it would be horrible of me not to.
So I was gonna make peanut butter cheesecake,then I decided I was gonna make smlove,but then I decided not to,and took some ideas from it.
SO I made a peanut butter oatmeal cookie crust with the vwav gigantoid peanut butter oatmeal cookie recipe-my favourite cookies!-baked it,then filled it with a chocolate ganache/trfulle filling that didn't have to be baked,let it cool and set,then spread it with peanut butter caramel,made some candied/spiced nuts,and covered with acrazy layer of those and more peanut butter caramel.
SO GOOD!
