I wouldn't be making cupcakes ever again.But i've done it twice this week.first the Jelly Dones,now Boston vs Brooklyn Cream Pie Cakes.
I got a weird craving for these suddenly last week,so I made them last night.So good.mmm ganache.and custard filling.I remember when I was in Brooklyn, Terry saying that even though she was sick of cupcakes she could still go for a boston cream pie one.I understand why,these are so good.and of course no buttercream.last time i made these was last october for a potluck.that's over a year.
yeah,the custard rules.

Oh my gosh, I just looked at your other post and can't believe you made every single cupcake from that book.
The brooklyn/boston ones were the first ones I made from that book. Ah, memories...
p.s. which are your favorites? I have a 4-way tie between chocolate/mint, mexican hot chocolate, lime/coconut, and tiramisu, with tiramisu in slight lead.
