Jelly Donut Cupcakes from Veganomicon.i hate donuts,but i love cake and i LOVE jam(straeberry of course) so i couldn't pass these up and i am glad i didn't.nice crunchy top,sweet cake,and succulent jelly filling dusted with powdered sugar.yum.

the best Brownies ever.why did i ever doubt?when i made these for the first time last december i claimed they were the best and told that to everyone and continued to make them.but then i didn't make them for a long time and forgot how good they were.but no,there is no need to search for the mysterious perfect vegan brownie,because this is it.it's the ppk recipe and i am in brownies heaven.

Fudgy Chocolate Chunk Gingerbread.I made a 1/2 recipe of the gingerbread from the Voluptuous Vegan aka the best gingerbread EVER,no you can't argue,and I added 1/2 of a 4oz chocolate ginger bar and some chocolate covered ginger chunks.The batter is souper thin(get it-SOUP?HA!) and it mostly sunk to the bottom,but that made for a fudgy-black bottomed?- gingerbread that still rose and was still all of it's moist and spiced sweetness.With chocolate.






Molasses Cookies.Best homemade vegan molasses cookies i've had/made so far.I veganized a recipe and added some stuff.I should post it.




I like soft,chewy molasses cookies.NOT ginger cookies,molasses.So don't over so the ginger.

Raspberry Chocolate Chip Blondies

These are the "tantalizing" Raspberry Chocolate Chip Blondies.And tantalizing is spot on.In looks and taste.Can something that isn't chocolate be described as fudgy?These are where it's at,gooey/"fudgy" cake base,sweet and fruity raspberries.chocolate chips,dough and more chocolate!mmm.
I made these for my ex-student teacher Megan who's helping me put together a portfolio.These ones are wheat free too.
I haven't been eating much lately especially because i'm working on this portfolio and i've been spending all of my time drawing except for the past 2 1/2 weeks where all I did was paint(painted 14 hours in a row on Saturday...) but baking is fast and has been a stress relief.and these were delicious.

Chocolate S'mlove Pie from Veganomicon.
I like this even more than the no bake black bottom peanut butter silk pie from vwav.The filling is really different-it's like baked mousse,so it gets this awesome texture.And the maple candied pecans are delicious,even by themselves.But the best part is the peanut butter caramel.holy crap it's amazing.I mean it's kind of obvious that my favourite food is peanut butter,so it's inclusion in this dessert is what really makes it for me.and peanut butter with caramel it just beyond me.it's so many different flavours and textures,but all in one pie and not all so different from eachother that they make the taste complicated and difficult,but they compliment each other so well.Sorry,but I don't have any Kate Bush lyric comparisons for this pie.maybe i'll think of one.
