Basically giving into yr innermost desires is the best thing ever.I wuv these a lot.I'm eating one as I type this.I'm savouring the first bite and my eyes are bulging from the sheer intensity of banana and chocolate with an incendiary more-than-just-a-hint-of peanut butter.
The idea for these came out last Wednesday when I was walking to get the bus to go to school.It snowed-ish the night before and I was having awful bowel problems.Like everything was watery and sporadic.So when I get to Main St I have to go so bad that I stop in a coffee shop and go.While i'm waiting I see the beautiful,big non-vegan banana chocolate chip muffins in the pastry case and think about how yummy they look.So I start thinking about baking something similar.Muffins,coffee cake maybe,etc,etc.Then I started thinking about how peanut butter makes everything better(especially banana and chocolate!)and peanut butter-improvement makes me think of the peanut butter cinnamon rolls.So all my thoughts coagulate and i'm like "omgbananachocolatechippeanutbutterrolls!!!you should make them!"
and with my abundancy of over ripe bananas I did.And it feels good.
Banana Everythings from the PPK cookie test kitchen.These are really chewy and soft but crispy enough outside to make a very satisfying cookie.They're wholesome because of the oats and bananas but don't taste like health food.I made some with shredded coconut.Yummy.This book is gonna be awesome.
